We are very pleased to announce that we have been informed that we have won bids in all 12 Competitive Bidding Areas that we bid in, including Bakersfield, the Bay Area, and Las Vegas. We are excited at the opportunity to provide oxygen and sleep services to our existing patients and new patients alike. Our success with this bid will position us to expand our business to other locations, thus allowing more patient to experience a higher level of service.

What is Competitive Bidding?
Under the Competitive Bidding Program, DMEPOS suppliers compete to become Medicare contract suppliers by submitting bids to furnish certain items in competitive bidding areas, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) awards contracts to enough suppliers to meet the beneficiary demand for the bid items.
The program sets more appropriate payment amounts for DMEPOS items while ensuring continued access to quality items and services, which will result in reduced beneficiary out-of-pocket expenses and savings to taxpayers and the Medicare program.
