Available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, Synergy provides staff on standby round the clock for our patient’s emergency needs. If necessary, our staff will provide troubleshooting assistance, supplies or replacements in the event of an emergency. Rest assured that you will always get a live person to help you in your time of need.
Everyone learns at their own pace and the same is true for our patients. Receiving and understanding new therapy can be difficult. If they don’t understand it, they won’t use it. Synergy is committed to helping our patients to understand their equipment. Every patient is given a personal demonstration on the operation, cleaning and troubleshooting of their equipment, even though we are always available for assistance.
Medicare requires that once therapy has been initiated, the patient must use the PAP device for 4 hours or longer per night on 70% of the nights during a consecutive 30-day period, anytime during the first 90 days. Synergy will continue to monitor our patient’s therapy through SD Cards and provide reports on their compliance and usage.
Patient’s success with PAP therapy is highly contingent on their comfort with the equipment any supplies. Synergy employs Certified Respiratory Therapist to be available to answer questions regarding mask, devices, cleaning, and troubleshooting. It’s like having your own personal therapists at your fingertips.
Synergy patients are called regularly to check on their therapy and the need for replacements and supplies. This program is specifically for our Medicare patients. PAP patients are contacted every 30 days until compliance is met, and then every 3 to 6 months thereafter.
