NIV (Noninvasive Ventilation)

If you’re frequently short of breath, even while on oxygen, you may be retaining carbon dioxide (CO2). Patients often find themselves being admitted to the hospital often for elevated carbon dioxide (CO2) levels. Noninvasive ventilation assists patients with breathing and removes the trapped carbon dioxide from their lungs.
If you have any of the following diagnosis and or related symptoms, contact your physician and ask to be considered for Noninvasive Ventilation:

  • Severe COPD
  • Chronic Respiratory Failure
  • Hypercapnia (increased CO2 Levels)
  • Restrictive Lung Disease
  • Interstitial Lung Disease/Pulmonary Fibrosis
  • Scoliosis
  • Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome (OHS)
  • ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)
  • Neuromuscular Disease
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Quadriplegia

  • Shortness of breath even with OXYGEN
  • Progression from Nocturnal Oxygen to Continuous all day need
  • Fatigued and reduced ability to exercise
  • Feeling like you can’t take deep breaths
  • Hospital admissions for exacerbation of COPD or Respiratory Failure
